Delta Delta Delta

Gamma Sigma Chapter Chapter at Colgate University

Chapter History

Tri Delta was founded in 1888 at Boston University as an organization based on the principles of truth, self-sacrifice, and friendship. In 1996 the Gamma Sigma chapter was chartered at Colgate, and we have remained dedicated to our founders, as well as to the growth and development of our individual chapter’s members.

Gamma Sigma women are involved in numerous clubs and serve as leaders in on-campus organizations such as dance groups, acapella groups, varsity and club sports teams, Community Leaders, Maroon News editors, and WRCU DJs. Our members emphasize academic excellence and study a wide variety of majors and minors. Deltas love to support one another and attend events sponsored by sisters.

The members of Gamma Sigma strive to honor the principles of Delta Delta Delta and practice truth, self-sacrifice, and friendship throughout our time here at Colgate University.
