Letter from the Chapter

Why Tri Delta? I hadn't been planning on joining a sorority in college; in fact, I didn't even participate in formal recruitment. I remained a bit hesitant even after receiving my invitation to informal recruitment - that is, until I met my future sisters. As soon as I walked through the door, I felt comfortable and welcomed at Tri Delta. The women in our chapter made me feel loved and appreciated immediately, and I feel lucky to call such brave, bold, phenomenal, kind women my sisters.

Although we all come from different backgrounds and have different interests, we are united in our values of kindness, love, and selflessness. I am proud of the important work we do in our community and for St. Jude, and I am consistently amazed at the ways we love each other each day. I would not be the woman or the leader I am today without Tri Delta. I am grateful to call it my home.

Now, as the Vice President of Membership Experience, my aim is to make sure all women feel welcome at Tri Delta and experience the love of sisterhood I felt when I first stepped inside the door.

Delta Love, Teagan Mackey
