Message from the Vice President of Membership Experience

There is truly nowhere else on campus like our home at 84 Broad Street. However, before attending Colgate, I did not think sorority life was for me. In fact, I even made an effort to apply to colleges without Greek Life.

During my first-year on campus I found myself searching for a community of girls that I felt connected to. While I made some incredible friends through my dorm and classes that I still have to this day, I still felt like something was missing from my collegiate experience. Enter Tri-Delta. After hearing directly from upperclassmen in Tri-Delta about their experience in the chapter, I decided to give recruitment a try. Looking back, I can confidently say this is one of the best decisions I have made so far at Colgate.

As I sit here writing this message to you as an incoming senior, I can’t be more grateful that I had the opportunity to join Tri-Delta. Joining Tri-Delta completely transformed my experience at Colgate and changed me in many ways all for the better. This chapter has gifted me so many incredible friendships that I know will last a lifetime and opportunities to grow professionally through holding officer positions and attending conventions. I know my sisters hold the same sentiment, and we are excited to grow our chapter. With Delta love and mine, Emery Furgason.
